Girls just wanna have fun and SUN!!!!! We've been vitamin D deprived up here and this day was a God-send! Cassidy is quite the little hiker........I'm packing her here but she walked and jumped and skipped almost the entire .8 of a mile to the waterfall.........pretty good for 2!
That's Bates out there on that bridge............He's doing awesome and I couldn't help but see him looking into the distance like that and thank God for how great he looks and is feeling! His check-ups all come back cancer free and his energy level is great! The day before he was golfing with his new buddies in his golfing league and just before this hike he went to the gym and had a work out! You go Bates! Thank you Jesus!
I always seem to see this when I'm strongly feeling the presence of Jesus! And I really was this day and not just because of the sunny, stunning beauty! I had just e-mailed some of you to share with me in my walk-a-thon with Care Net that I'm doing tomorrow. Even before I left the responses were coming in and it really filled my heart with joy and love for all of the wonderful family and friends I have been blessed with! Thank you all for being my friends and know that I really do think of you all and pray for you too. And I always take you along with me on my adventures! I love you!

If you've ever gotten a post card from me from up here it's probably of this view...........Just stunning!

The misty, mossy falls and a rainbow too! It always makes me smile and think of God's promises..........What a day to remember!
Yesterday was just amazing! It was the first sunny day in awhile and we headed up for a little hike to Sol Duc waterfall. It was just incredibly gorgeous and uplifting to be there! We scouted out the area and will be camping there very soon! There are hot springs there; a gorgeous campground; cabins; a lodge and tons of hiking trails and fishing holes! Something for everyone so get up here and come with us y'all!

Last weekend was the 113th Irrigation Festival in Sequim. We went to a carnival, parade and logging show where we saw this adorable baby donkey. Oh my God! She was so soft and cute! It was fun watching all the logging competitions like you see on TV and checking out all the characters!

We picnicked inside because it was so cold outside.........If you haven't been on a picnic lately, do yourself a favor and just go on one! Usually we're outside and it just feels really great and relaxing! I love picnics!

A few weeks ago we drove up to Hurricane Ridge in the Olympic National Park so that Bobus could see the panoramic and stunning views! There was so much snow there and Nonnie and Cassidy built yet another snow-woman!

Just couldn't stop clicking on this day............

Spring has sprung!

My favorite gardening buddies! We had such a wonderful time this day! It has been a LONG winter and we really needed this sunshine and to see that spring really is here!

Uncle Bobus is such a joy! He is so like my father and is always clowning around just as my dad would have!

I just know Opa was looking down and smiling at his girls in the "Toolpins" ! He loved tulips and he loved red and of course he loved us with all his heart! You never quit missing your parents when they are gone..........but you can take them along with you on your journey.

WOW!!! No commentary necessary..........
This is the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival that goes on for the entire month of April. It is absolutely amazing to see all these tulips growing so abundantly in the fields! I've never timed it right to see this in Holland, so I was so excited to see it here!
The next day the snow is gone and our snow-woman is getting really skinny!

A little freak snow storm in mid-April............Seems like the whole world is experiencing some extreme weather and Washington is no exception! Our bulbs were blooming and then came this storm! We made the most of it though and sledded in the slush and built a snow-woman amongst the dandelions!

Wallpaper sucks!!! And so does sheet rocking! We're so happy to see this ugly mess go, though! This is the downstairs basement apartment that we're re-doing. It's really looking good now and we are jamming to get our house on the market so that we can downsize and live in peace.

We're finally back online after unplugging for weeks to remodel our downstairs............and it's the Cassidy & Sierra Show in full swing! Look at Sierra's eyes........he's saying, "What you talkin' about Willis???" Ha ha ha!
