Cassidy's favorite toy! Her cuzzie, Kevin, gave this to her. She was scared of it at first, but now she loves wizzing all around the property on it! Too cool! Thank you so much Kevin, Uncle Mike and Aunt Sherry!

CRASHOLA!!!

Monday, September 15, 2008

I had a really horrible view from my booth........hahaha!!!
This is Cassidy and Nonnie shaking their booties to the music! There were three different bands playing throughout the day and six vendors in this outside tent. The house had 7 vendors and there were three of us plus the wine vendor on the front porch. What a great day!

My little shop on the front porch..........I didn't make a killing, but I am getting my work and my name out there........it's all good! I had a blast with my girlfriends and met lots of nice & interesting people all day........now that's a decent day at the office!
Saturday, Sept. 13th we had the first annual Opulent Art Show at this gorgeous place........the cutting garden. It was an awesome day and went really well......especially for a first time event! The weather couldn't have been better, the music was great, we had lots of non-stop traffic and the wine was flowing! We're already getting ready for next years event because it looks like it's gonna be BIG! Cool stuff!!!!
Casey wrestles with the girlies...........nothing like hearing little girls giggle!

Girlfriends Rule!! Too cool seeing these little girls together!

Cassidy meets the twins! These cuties are Harley and Reese. They are the daughter's of two dear friends from high school, Joey and Wendy. We had the great pleasure of hanging out with Wendy, Casey and Patty this night...........eating pizza and veggies from their garden and watching our girls play together! It was wonderful........(except that Joey was working out of town that night!) I wish we lived near these guys.........it was a joy seeing them and watching Wendy be a mom. She is an amazing mom!!!!!
Cassidy meets my dear friend Pretty Patty and her turtle that lives happily in her pool! It was such a joy to see them together.........I haven't lived near Patty for years, but she is always one of the dearest people in my heart! I love you!!!!

A blast from the past.............this brought back lots of happy memories!!!! Cassidy and I stopped in Ukiah on the way home for a few nights. Here she is playing at the huge city park that I used to play in! This was my favorite too........climbing on the wall that surrounds the beautiful park! Too cool!

Just like mama, Cassidy loves playing with the flowers! She helped me make some arrangements for the big party!

Happy 70th Birthday Papa! Cassidy, Bobus and I traveled to Santa Rosa, Ca. for Jon's 70th birthday bash! We had a really wonderful visit there and the party was great! There were lots of stories about all the wonderful, generous things Jon has done for people helping them to get into their first homes, etc.........It was great to see friends of mom and Jon's that I hadn't seen in years. It was especially wonderful to spend time with Jon's babies........Holly, Scott and Greg.....and to see Cassidy with them and with her cuzzies and Auntie Willis and Nana Berta. It went far too quickly but we are SO happy that we made the trip!

Treasures of the Sea.............three precious mermaids ham it up on Hollywood Beach in Port Angeles!

Sunday, August 17, 2008

My little red tent at the Sequim Open Aire Market on Saturdays.........It's fun and I'm getting my work and my name out there!

My favorite shot! You can just see and feel the excitement and fun these cuzzies are having! Right after this they were sliding naked across the floor.........and yelling, "Great tile job Uncle Don!!!!!"
Nonnie's Angels.............We're making art to surprise Nonnie when she returns from Alaska!

Everyone loves Uncle Bobus! We were out late blowing bubbles on this night!

Just another tough day at the office...........

Just a few balloons were harmed during this balloon popping extravaganza.......much to Cassidy's dismay!

The cuzzies racing down the hill........

Happy Hikers!!!

Camryn and Jenna at Marymere Falls.........These two girls are just wonderful! They are such a joy to be around and they make everything even more fun! They show such kindness to Cassidy and include her in everything and it just blows us away! We love you!!!!

Uncle Bobus takes the cuzzies through the old growth forest to Marymere Falls.

The girls are awesome face painters! The cuzzies are having a blast doing different crafts in the barn!

Jenna and Camryn come for a 3 week visit! These cuzzies are having a blast laughing and playing together! Here they are pickin' & a grinnin' at the beach in Port Angeles! There were a bunch of awesome sand sculptures along the shore.

Bobus and Cassidy sniff lavender at Lost Mountain Farm during the Sequim Lavender Fest! It's a three day festival with great vendors; food; music and tours of 8 gorgeous farms!

Nothing is cooler than cuzzies when you are young..........We love you Kevin!

Just when I thought our vacation couldn't get better.........we took the long way home and visited my Uncle Mike and Aunt Sherry who I haven't seen since I was 15! It was really wonderful to spend time with them and meet their son Kevin.

Happy campers.............eating beans and drinking wine and melting s'mores..............tough job......eh????

We did my dad proud........and Yogi too........we picnicked EVERY day under the backdrop of God's amazing creation!

The travel channel shot...............yes.......LIFE IS GOOD!!!!

A little Catholic cathedral in the woods..........I always feel the presence of God in nature so this was a neat man-made reminder to thank Him for all the amazing things He created for us to enjoy!

Moose siting!!! They aren't easy to see and we were fortunate to see two of them!

Mighty Moe had a blast jumping down hundreds of steps!!! She constantly reminds us of what is so very awesome about being a child!

Just another gorgeous waterfall.........this one is Hidden Waterfall. We hiked 3 miles around beautiful Jenny Lake to picnic here. We took the boat back because carrying a 33lb. child gets a little heavy.........(I miss my hikin' buddy Jenny today and ALWAYS!!!!)

Grand Teton..............just magnificent!!! The wildflowers were at the height of their glory!

Ice cream at Old Faithful Inn.........camping has to have it's luxuries!!! John, Mark and Cat stayed one night here to break up the tent-monotony! It really is an impressive lodge! (Could Cassidy's smile get any bigger???? I think, maybe, she likes ice cream........??????)

Thar she blows!!! Old Faithful...........
These are the hot springs...........what I expected to see in Yellowstone. It truly is amazing, though.........I felt like I was on another planet.......one that was dying or beginning..........And it STINKS (dah......it's sulphur!) but the guide books don't mention that.........hahaha!
Typical Yellowstone........they call this a wildlife jam! When you see people pulling over you get over or else you get trampled or miss a siting of wildlife!!! This dude knows he is king......

Cowgirl Cat!!! Our new girlfriend takes her very first ride! She did great! We miss you honey and look forward to seeing you next year!

This is Cowboy-Bob.........a total gentleman who serenaded us at the cookout with all kinds of cowboy songs that reminded me of my dad and Ocey Lamb.

The food was even good at the cookout..........These hungry campers are waiting for their grub.......big ol' steaks and all the fixins........all you can eat! They even had yummy black bean burgers for a veggie cowgirl like me and Cassidy!
We went on this awesome Cowboy Cookout that John recommended. We were amazed that it was actually cool and NOT hokey! You can ride horses or covered wagons to the cookout. We took the wagon and the cowboys driving it were really funny! We were also fortunate to see a grizzly bear eating it's dinner en-route.
Too cute!
One tired little camper..............She loved to start the day by shouting out....."I see a buffalo!" (Even before we had left the campground! Funny one!!)
The elk are abundant as well.......

The buffalo/ bison/ tatonga are just everywhere and you quickly become a snob.........hahaha! You really feel how great it is to be an American when you are in Yellowstone! It's all that is magnificent about America and you just feel the patriotism and LOVE........"America the Beautiful" was constantly in my head.........It's quite the experience!!!
YELLOWSTONE rocks!!! This is lower falls......I had no idea there were so many waterfalls in Yellowstone! We had an amazing vacation seeing Yellowstone, the Grand Tetons, Montana and Idaho. We met our buddy, John Molnar (who organinzed the trip) and had a really great time. We also made some new friends.........John's childhood friend, Mark, and his lovely daughter, Cat.........Good people who we are so happy to know! We're planning on joining them every summer for a camp-out and we will be starting a new blog to try to get more cool people to join in and see this gorgeous country of ours!!!
