Saturday, Sept. 13th we had the first annual Opulent Art Show at this gorgeous place........the cutting garden. It was an awesome day and went really well......especially for a first time event! The weather couldn't have been better, the music was great, we had lots of non-stop traffic and the wine was flowing! We're already getting ready for next years event because it looks like it's gonna be BIG! Cool stuff!!!!
Cassidy meets the twins! These cuties are Harley and Reese. They are the daughter's of two dear friends from high school, Joey and Wendy. We had the great pleasure of hanging out with Wendy, Casey and Patty this night...........eating pizza and veggies from their garden and watching our girls play together! It was wonderful........(except that Joey was working out of town that night!) I wish we lived near these guys.........it was a joy seeing them and watching Wendy be a mom. She is an amazing mom!!!!!
A blast from the past.............this brought back lots of happy memories!!!! Cassidy and I stopped in Ukiah on the way home for a few nights. Here she is playing at the huge city park that I used to play in! This was my favorite too........climbing on the wall that surrounds the beautiful park! Too cool!
Happy 70th Birthday Papa! Cassidy, Bobus and I traveled to Santa Rosa, Ca. for Jon's 70th birthday bash! We had a really wonderful visit there and the party was great! There were lots of stories about all the wonderful, generous things Jon has done for people helping them to get into their first homes, etc.........It was great to see friends of mom and Jon's that I hadn't seen in years. It was especially wonderful to spend time with Jon's babies........Holly, Scott and Greg.....and to see Cassidy with them and with her cuzzies and Auntie Willis and Nana Berta. It went far too quickly but we are SO happy that we made the trip!

We went on this awesome Cowboy Cookout that John recommended. We were amazed that it was actually cool and NOT hokey! You can ride horses or covered wagons to the cookout. We took the wagon and the cowboys driving it were really funny! We were also fortunate to see a grizzly bear eating it's dinner en-route.
The buffalo/ bison/ tatonga are just everywhere and you quickly become a snob.........hahaha! You really feel how great it is to be an American when you are in Yellowstone! It's all that is magnificent about America and you just feel the patriotism and LOVE........"America the Beautiful" was constantly in my head.........It's quite the experience!!!
YELLOWSTONE rocks!!! This is lower falls......I had no idea there were so many waterfalls in Yellowstone! We had an amazing vacation seeing Yellowstone, the Grand Tetons, Montana and Idaho. We met our buddy, John Molnar (who organinzed the trip) and had a really great time. We also made some new friends.........John's childhood friend, Mark, and his lovely daughter, Cat.........Good people who we are so happy to know! We're planning on joining them every summer for a camp-out and we will be starting a new blog to try to get more cool people to join in and see this gorgeous country of ours!!!
