MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!! We hope and pray that your celebration is blessed! We are very excited to see Cassidy's reaction to it all as this is the first year that she will begin to "get it." We will miss being with the entire family this year but we're excited to have our own small celebration too! And we'll be getting together with Roy and Corey again too! (Mimosa brunch anyone????) Hopefully next year we can plan a HUGE family gathering here! You are ALL invited so Bobus better hurry and "git" up here and git to work!!!!!

This night we were having a little early Italian Christmas dinner so that Lois and Bates could celebrate with Roy and Corey before heading to Lou, Karen, Jenna and Camryn's for Christmas in LA. Cassidy got all decked out in this incredible, hand-made dress that she got from our dear Canadian friends Drew and Wanda. Wanda can really sew and this was also made with much love!!! We can't wait to hook up with them some time soon now that we are MUCH closer!

This is a small part of the Elk herd that makes lights blink and traffic stop on Hwy. 101 just before Sequim. They are awesome!

Every object is another opportunity for a climb for this girl.......She is definitely the child of Don and Marliese! Now we know why we haven't traveled to Nepal yet......we have this little mountain-goat to take!!!!

Daddy checks to see if Cassidy okays this tree! We went to a beautiful tree farm and cut our own.......too cool!

When Marla shows back up in Vegas, send her right back home here. Cassidy said she can't leave. And she ain't large, but she's in charge!
Cassidy's face lights up when she sees her Poppy! She calls him "POP POP" and he just melts! Here she is showing off another gorgeous, handmade-with- love creation from her Nonnie Lois. She is absolutely surrounded by constant love and tons of it.

Winter Wonderland!

Mountain-Baby loves snow too!!!

Da Frozen Blackberry Farm!

The biggest, baddest and most awesome snow storm this area has seen in years!
Nobody is more ready to hang, hop on the floor or play with Cassidy than her cool Nonnie!
Daddy's favorite Thanksgiving drum-stix!

Girlfriends RULE!!!! We haven't had any fun since Marla came to visit!
Thanksgiving and MUCH to be thankful about! Marla came to visit for two weeks; Bates and Lois are living with us; Marla's brother, Jeff, and wife, Janice, came to dinner; our new friends Bill, Sam, Chris, Emily and Janice breaking bread with us and drinking wine; this gorgeous place; Don and I and our lovely daughter!!!!!!! Thank you God!
Cassidy is one cool chick!
Look at these baby-blues!!! The gorgeous sunflower dress is from Bea's Mommy and Poppy!
Say hello to the princess!!! Playing with some of her favorite things from her sweet Aunties......................Bea, Monique, Helen, Jenny, Marla, Alma, Tabby, ETC....

Cassidy loves to help mommy (or mom-mom as she calls me....) cook! She hands me stuff to chop and then loads it in the bowl.....she's learning to make a mean salad too! Here she is doing a taste test to make sure mom-mom got the batter right!
Halloween in Sequim.......we visited a local farm with a huge pumpkin patch. There were families and kids everywhere laughing and chasing little, squealing piglets!

Cassidy's nice little naked! She's just SO full of personality and life!!! She laughs and giggles and smiles constantly........We're so blessed to have her in our family.

Nonnie with our little Halloween lion cub. We were enjoying yet another celebration at a farmers market in Port Angeles. The homemade soup, pumpkin pie and cider made you feel like you haven't even eaten fresh veggies in years. It is such a difference eating organic produce that ripened on the vine.......we're digging it! They also had music and free 15 minute massage......(which is where Don and I were drooling....!!!!)

The upstairs part of our new home. It has beautiful wood everywhere and a gorgeous veiw of our property and the Olympic mountain range.

Farmer Don and his mini farmer chick!

We went on some local farm tours and celebrated the harvest with them! Cassidy saw and petted lots of the same animals from in her books! The produce is fabulous here!
Come swimming! Itty Bitty loves her new tub!

Just down the road is beautiful Sequim Bay.
Even our driveway is gorgeous and wooded.

We don't have to miss trees anymore! They are awesome and everywhere!!
Now this is Washington!! Gorgeous Marymere Falls in the Olympic National Park!

Our first friends to visit us in Washington!! Thanks for coming Odelle and Joelle! The game may have been a bummer, but the wine tasting sure wasn't!!!

Come play in the woods soon! We've got tons of room and would love to see you fall in love with this gorgeous place too!
(And Auntie Marla......you get well soon! Our prayers for a speedy healing are with you!!)

Our sassy little rock star! (So much better than being a Vegas stripper!!!!)

Nothin' in the world daddy wouldn't do for his little girl.

Country girls are tough! Cassidy (aka Sassy-Sue) with her first shiner! She's so far had blisters from the stinging nettles; been stung by a bee; climbed to the top of her stroller and slammed down face forward for this shiner and today got another fat lip...........wow! Parenthood ain't for sissys!!!! (And she's still climbing on everything....)

Not all "surprises" are bad though. There are yummy things to eat everywhere; beautiful things planted everywhere; antique-funky treasures galore and a huge trampoline and swing set!!

We just can't buy a house that hasn't been pissed on.....ha! ha! We knew it was a fixer but there are "surprises" we didn't know about. Thank God Don is so handy! He learns how to fix or rebuild something new literally every day! He's amazing!

The road less traveled. We are so very happy to be on it!

Cassidy is a natural! She jumped right up on the tractor-mower. Look familiar Auntie Jenny?

We made it here on Aug. 21, 2006! What a feeling! It smells so great here and it's just gorgeous! This is my farmin'-mama hat from my amazing girlfriends in Vegas! I love you guys!!!!!

This is the image I dreamed about for 10 years in Las Vegas.....Vegas was good to me and I have no regrets, but my heart and soul have always lived in the woods. I will never forget how emotional this moment was for me. Every event and every person in my life led up to this intense moment. I was grateful and overwhelmed at the same time. I couldn't stop crying thinking of all the great and sad memories and how the Lord has blessed me through them all.
