"YIKES!! I'm trapped in the plum tree!" screams little Sushi. They love this tree and we're going to love the wine and jam and chutney we make out of it!

We turned some old tubs into our bean garden. These are edamame and black beans with corn in the distance.
Cassidy "harvesting" her strawberries. It's a good day when you can beat the birds to one!
Our awesome garden......giant tomatoes, sun flowers, broccoli, marigolds, raspberries, onions, carrots, spinach, etc........It is so fun to go dig up your potatoes, carrots, onions, fennel, and cut your basil, cilantro and rosemary when you are cooking! We are diggin' it, literally! And the tomatoes and carrots are SO sweet!!!! Yummy!!!!

Cassidy smelling the sweet Sweet Peas. We planted these for her great grandma Isabel who just loves them! They are starting to bloom everywhere and they smell SO good!

Daddy and Nonnie blowing gigantic bubbles for Cassidy in our orchard. If anyone wants a closer look at these pictures, just double click them and they'll get HUGE.........

Cassidy's latest big grinner! She's quite the corker! She keeps asking for "pretty dress" and wore this one for two days. It's from Karen and Lou's cool friends/neighbors Linette and John. Thanks again you guys.....as you can see, she loves it!
Don takes his big sis Karen on a ride on his new toy.........even though her daughter, Camryn, informed her that Daddy Lou wouldn't "appreciate that." Ha ha.

We also went to the picking garden for gorgeous flowers. Camryn and Jenna had a blast finding the most beautiful flowers.........and they sure did, eh???

Jenna and Camryn introduce Cassidy to the High School Musical movie. Jenna recently went to the premiere in LA with her dad, Lou, and met the star babe. She told us to "back off, he's mine" when we said how cute he is.

The non-stop shoveling of berries into the little mouth.......

Nonnie and Auntie Karen teach Jenna and Camryn how to make a beautiful blueberry pie from the berries we all picked!

Look at these GIGANTIC raspberry bushes!! They have very few prickers too, which makes picking great. Nonnie and Jenna compare giant berries in the distance and Cassidy is undoubtedly eating them all up in the foreground.

Even Don donned his berry-picking hat and got in on the action!!! Karen is showing Camryn which raspberries are the sweetest! Yummy!

Auntie Karen and cuzzies Jenna (pictured) and Camryn came to visit for a week in August. We had a blast! The girls are amazingly sweet with Cassidy! We went berry picking on this day. It is so fun! These are blueberry bushes.
Cassidy loves the new kittens.

The newest additions to Da Farm.........Sushi and Bent (or Dora and Diego, if you ask Cassidy.....) You HAVE TO have cats on the farm or the mice will run you outta town! They are still living in the house and amusing us daily, but they will soon move out to the barn at night.

Moss fringe and even moss under the water......just beautiful!!

We love hiking! We love trees! And this is a lot of tree to love!

Two cool camping chicks in front of their new tent trailer. Cassidy has her second swollen eye......she was attacked by the mosquitoes being the sweet little morsel she is!
Nonnie and Cassidy checking out the kayaks at Quinault Lake.

Don and Sierra in front of beautiful Quinault Lodge.

It's a tough life, but someone has to do it!

Happy Daddy had an extra day off to explore the west coast....

Hikin' the Hoh......(who you callin' a hoh????)

The forest is incredible in the Hoh Rain Forest......It is old growth and covered with moss. We took a lot of little hikes here and took in the amazing beauty of this place.

Cassidy playing with daddy at our campsite in the Hoh Rain Forest in Olympic National Park........It was our first camp-out up here and we tested out Nonnie and Poppy's new awesome tent trailer.

The fields are so beautiful and fragrant.

Only two and already a stage-front groupie shakin' her booty to the music with a pack of boys hoovering around her........

The unofficial poster-girl for the Sequim Lavender Festival. It was really fun........a great street fair with live music, cool stuff to buy and great food. Eight lavender farms are on the tour and they all have food, music, crafts, lavender fields to pick from, etc.......We had a great time!

Local delicious produce........gigantic raspberries from a "pick your own" farm, veggies from Nash's organic farm and flowers from our yard. It is a blast to go berry picking! I'd never done it. This farm is called Greymarsh and they have strawberries, raspberries, loganberries, blueberries and blackberries. It's really cheap if you pick your own and they are delicious!

First fruits........we harvested cherries to munch from our cherry tree! Yummy!

Cassidy marching on the 4th of July.

The frame shop continues getting busier and we hope and pray we can make it work at home for Cassidy's sake.

Cassidy stops to smell the wildflowers in her field.
